    About LAMBORGHINI

Lamborghini is a brand born under the purity of a good sports car. It is well known that its founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini, took the initiative to create the brand after having owned many sports cars, especially Ferrari, and the disappointment that some of his cars would have caused, especially due to some mechanical problems. Having built a small empire thanks to the assembly of tractors, which in many cases were based on outdated technology from the Second World War, Ferruccio decided to take advantage of his knowledge and his infrastructure to create a brand capable of measuring yourself with his contemporaries, especially with Ferrari.

In those early days Lamborghini advocated the refinement of large touring cars, although he would soon find the key to his business and the architecture most desired by anyone willing to have a Lamborghini in his garage, in the rear-central engine. In those years Lamborghini would also adopt another of the traditions that have remained before our days, the bullfighting inspiration of the names of their models, based on the fondness of Ferruccio for bullfighting. More information about the story in our article “Ferruccio Lamborghini, the” farmer “who sold his Ferrari”.

The Lamborghini Miura would be the first of a saga of supercars that today complete the lists of the most desired of all time, Countach, Diablo, Murciélago and, more recently, Aventador. Lamborghini has relied mainly on the power, performance and strength of the V10 and V12 engines. In recent years Lamborghini has experimented with prototypes that sought to grow towards different styles, but its range continues to be based on two reference sports, the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 and the Lamborghini Huracán LP610-4. Those two lines, the second replacement of the best-selling Lamborghini of all time, the Gallardo, have been complemented with different models of limited series, some highly exclusive, such as the Lamborghini Reventón and Veneno.

In the future, Lamborghini has left open the possibility of launching different models, such as a hybrid plug-in sports car (Asterion LPI 910-4), a four-door sports sedan (Estoque) and even an SUV (Urus).
